Just Fluttering By

Hi Everyone,
Barbara here with my post for this month. Since the Design Team's theme for July is tags with flowers, I tweeked my project a tad and added the flowers to the card, not to the tag.

Let me show you.

I designed my card with a vellum pocket that is the perfect tag holder. That vellum pocket has flowers in one corner area.

The vellum pocket lets the tag and the stamped images show thru with a gentle softness.

The tag is perfect for a bookmark.

My Bow was made using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool. It makes bow making so easy!!!
Have you submitted a project to the challenge this month? You still have a few days to get one in. You never know, you could be our next winner.

Joy

Hi everyone Simply Monica here with a fun tag for Craft-Dee Bowz which is all about fun purple and flowers and I added this fun image to the center which seemed to go so well this tag. I made the flowers that I put on the tag with plain white cardstock and then I added some purple stamens to the center.

"Friends" Tag by Karen

Hi there,

Karen here, sharing a really fun "Friends" tag using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  I absolutely love the large tag concept, so ultimately, this tag will definitely be an album cover.

The tag measures 4 3/4 X 8, which offers great space for loads of creativity. The base layer is a patterned mega tag by K and Company.  I added a random coat of gesso creating a whitewash effect. I then used my stencil to add a sketch grid pattern to the tag. To enhance the whitewash effect I added white gelatos to the edges of the tag and adhered the tag to chipboard as prep for an album. I accented all embellishments with gesso to easily blend with the tag. I continued embellishing and added 2 really cute bows that I created with the Craft-Dee Bowz tool to enhance the overall design.

Friends Tag by Karen Jiles Supplies Tag: K and Company; Wooden tickets: Prima; Flowers: Recollections; Gelatos: Faber Castell; Adhesive: Xyron; Tool: Craft-Dee-BowZ; Stencil: The Crafter's Workshop; Other: Ribbon, Paint, Cheesecloth, Gesso

This is a close up of the bows and other embellishments.  I love how effortless the tool makes bow making. I was able to make multi looped bows very quickly and in just the right sizes.
Thanks so much for visiting today...:)

Vicki's tag mini album card

Vicki here with my July project created using this month's theme... a multi loop bow, flowers and tags in shades of pink, light green and lavender.

I created an accordion tag mini album card using 4 tags that are "hinged" together with cardstock and covered with patterned paper.

I used Scor Tape to adhere the cardstock to the tags.

The cardstock is measured to fit the tags and creased down the center.  I added Scor tape to either side of the crease on the hinges.

Next, I adhered them in an alternating fashion to create a fan fold album.

The front of the folding tag album card is covered with patterned paper and lots of luscious flowers. The multi loop pink bow was created using a Craft-Dee BowZ Bowmaker Tool.  Love this tool and it travels with me to wherever I am crafting.  I added an identical bow to the back of the album directly behind the one on the front for more dimension.  The closing tie wraps around the back of the album and ties on the side.

I covered the inside tags with patterned paper also and embellished with flowers, trim, die cut butterflies and quote stickers.
